“I was
so intrigued by the comments of the previous
attendees of Maurizio classes on stone
restoration that I decided to go to one myself.
(I’ve been to two “products oriented” seminars
in the past that I prefer not to mention).
Starting from the end, I feel that it’s the best
$800 I ever spent in my life! When it comes to
stone that guy is not human!! He was able to
device ways of refinishing even the most
difficult stones to make it look like a child
play! The training floor he has set up is a
total nightmare! Some 300 square feet of stone
tiles including black granite mixed with white
marble, green marble mixed with granite and
marble, black marble mixed with pure white
marble. Everything difficult is in that floor!!
Yet, the way he was able to handle the whole
thing was absolutely amazing!
One of the things he said was: “It’s relatively
easy to use a computer to process words
nowadays. Think how much more difficult it was
using a type-writer a few years back! But think
for a minute how complicated it must have been
for all those software designers to make it that
easy!!” He did the same thing to stone
refinishing! It must have cost him a fortune in
invested time and studies to come up with such
easy yet sound solutions! A three-day class with
half a day theory, not a single sales pitch, and
after that the most intensive training I could
ever imagine!
The only criticism I can come up with is that
perhaps he’s trying to deliver too much
information in such a limited time, but I’m sure
that everything will fall into place when the
need arises. The passion he puts in his teaching
is contagious! And he’s quite funny, too!
If anybody is serious about going into stone
maintenance, that’s the way to go!”cent
tiles of black marble, white thassos, emperador,
travertine, botticcino and breccia. All of the
tiles were polished with a buffer, a pad, his
magic dust and a secret liquid that he got out
of the faucet in the restroom. It took less than
five minutes. All ti

“For
the last several years I have been touting the
unbelievable capabilities of Maurizio's MB-12
powder polish, because I have yet to run across
any stone that I was unable to bring to a
factory (or better) polish. Little did I know
how amazing that stuff really is. Last week I
was fortunate to be Maurizio's guest at his most
recent seminar. During the seminar I watched,
and assisted in, the polishing of adja
les
were at least factory quality. Although I was
VERY impressed I tried not to let the other
class attendees witness my licking of his
Nike's.
AND THEN, Just when I thought I had seen
everything, I watched that Italian completely
level an area of Absolute Black granite and get
it ready to polish using only four grits of
diamond pads. His last grit was 400 resin.
Unbelievably, he then polished it to a factory
finish using a new polishing powder he has
developed called MB-16. Lest you call me a liar
or accuse me of injesting some of his MB-12
(although the colors are wonderful) I want
everyone to know that I had plenty of witnesses.
In my humble opinion, I truly believe that
Maurizio has developed a couple of restoration
products that have the capability of
revolutionizing the stone restoration trade. If
you don't believe me, contact Maurizio. Knowing
him, he will probably GIVE you a sample for you
to try out. But, you will have to convince him
that you are not an amateur.”
